Country House Refurbishment

Country House refurbishment projects have taken us to some gorgeous locations and this Sussex family home was no exception with absolutely stunning views. Our client had lived in the house for some years and was keen to refurbish throughout including their swimming pool.  One of the main areas for us to look at was the sitting room which had previously felt dark and with the comparatively low ceilings, rather closed in.  The silk and wool rug really lifts the room and keeping the decor light yet with warm accents and some gorgeous Mulberry fabrics we were able to create a warm and inviting space.  The snug took its inspiration from the client’s art collection.  The upholstery fabric on the sofas is from Abbott & Boyd, working perfectly with the Mulberry embroidery curtain.  The main landing area outside the children’s bedrooms was the perfect spot for some fairground mirrors which we had made by Uckfield Framing.
