Peaceful Master Bedroom

Our client had lived in this house for some years but had not got round to redecorating their bedroom. With children approaching their teens they wanted a sleeping and relaxing space which they could retreat to. The existing wardrobes were in poor condition and did not make the most of the eaves space. The new design increased useable storage space and by painting them the same colour as the walls they disappeared rather than encroach on the room. An ottoman (offering more storage) and a love seat created a space for relaxing. The headboard was upholstered in a crushed velvet with contrast cushions and bolsters. Wall lights provide soft mood lighting as well as additional LED reading lights. The previous curtains had been on a pole and let in a great deal of early morning light. An upholstered pelmet was fitted with black out lined silk curtains to enable our client to avoid waking early in the summer.
