Eversley Lodge Nursing Home in Great Yarmouth is a 42 bed luxury care home built on the site of a former Kingsley Healthcare care home. The ground floor features a cafe and spacious lounge and dining room looking out onto beautiful gardens. There are two further lounge/diners as well as a light filled reading room on the top floor. Local themes have been used to inspire the decor throughout the home. The cafe and reception take on a botanical theme as a nod to the famous Winter Gardens. The ground floor lounge and dining spaces celebrate the fishing industry and the local sea birds. In the first floor lounge you will find a cosy lounge/diner designed around the palette of the Norfolk Broads and the windmills. The second floor lounge/diner has been fitted out in the style of a seafront cafe with ice cream posters and pastels.

At HomeSmiths we are acutely aware of how important it is for those living in a care home to feel that sense of home. For many residents moving out of their family home and into a care environment for the first time, the change can be huge so how the home looks and crucially it makes them feel when they first come in, will make an enormous difference to how a resident settles.
